When your sister has a better sense of fashion than you ever had at that age. -.-
This isn’t a post for VSAR 302 or anything, merely a post as I want to transition this site from a blog-for-class to the dumping grounds for my miscellaneous artistic endeavors and thoughts after the semester ends. Because I’ve been learning a lot in and out of photography class and wanting to practice more outside of class (not to mention taking advantage of borrowing expensive equipment from school), I decided to have another sister photoshoot during golden hour. Ya know, for funzies. I need to practice taking photos in other situations too..
I love light! I’ve noticed that I’ve incorporated light into past school projects including sculptures. I just love that I can use light (the reality of light is so bizarre and awesome! *mind implodes*) in different ways and work around it to create dope images. I guess that pretty much summarizes photography… 😛 Lauren’s floral mustard shirt matched the golden fall colors everywhere. :3 Also, neither of us know how to pose, so.
“This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” (1 John 1:5) — A beautifully nuanced yet simple verse that I need to think about more often!
